| GENERAL INFORMATION: | 'Fellemberg' blooms are medium sized (2-1/2"), double (36 petals), cupped cerise-crimson, with bright yellow stamens, and they occur in large clusters. The blooms repeat throughout the growing season. 'Fellemberg' s one of the older roses, and it was once designated as a China rose that appeared prior to 1835. It is now recognized as one of the few red Noisette roses. 'Fellemberg' makes an excellent small pillar rose, or it may be trained as a shrub. The growth habit is bushy and spreading, and the foliage is dark green. The stems are more thorny than most China roses. |
