| FOLIAGE DESCRIPTION: | The foliage is dark green and small. There are five oval leaflets about 2" long with serrated edges. The stems are smooth and shiny with reddish hooked thorns. The sepals are long and velvety on the under sides. |

| BLOOM FREQUENCY: | Repeat. 'Cramoisi Supérieur', CL starts blooming in the late spring in the Texas Hill Country and continues to bloom through mid-summer. |
| BLOOM DESCRIPTION: | Flower Size: 3.00" to 3.50" Cluster Size: 3 to 6 Petal Count: 35 to 400 Cramoisi Supérieur', CL flowers are flowers are medium sized (2-1/2"), double, cupped, and they occur in small clusters of 3 - 6 flowers. They retain their rounded shape even when fully open. The oval petals fold inward before the flower is fully opened. In the heat of summer they tend to be smaller and have fewer petals. The buds are small and globular and never open all the way flat. |
