'Maigold' is a superb climber and one of the first to flower each season. The semi-double (14 petals), very fragrant, blooms are large (4" ).

The buds of 'Maigold' are long and pointed, and the new foliage is bronze colored.

The growth habit of 'Maigold' is bushy and upright, and it can be used as either a moderate climber or a tall bush.
