The flowers, which are unusually large for a Polyantha, open from nearly spherical buds, revealing a warm rosy pink interior with more than 100 petals.

INFORMATION:

'Clotilde Soupert, CL' is a truly amazing Polyantha rose, and one that has been undervalued for many years. The blooms are absolutely beautiful and distinctive, so much so that noted rosarians have identified it instantly from casual paintings.

The flowers, which are unusually large for a Polyantha, open from nearly spherical buds, revealing a warm rosy pink interior with more than 100 petals. As the blooms continue to open, the outer petals fade to pearly white.

The center petals retain their soft pink color. Add to this an intoxicating fragrance, and you have a truly wonderful rose.

'Clotilde Soupert CL' flowers are very double (100+ Petals), medium sized (3" to 4") and they occur in moderate clusters. The rounded cabbage shaped blooms resemble those of 'Souvenir de la Malmaison', in both shape and color, but they are smaller.
