"Katy Road Pink" forms an upright shrub, 4' to 5' in height. It repeat blooms, beginning in Mid April and continues to bloom in cycles throughout the growing season.

"Katy Road Pink" flowers open medium pink. The colors are most vivid in the cool weather of spring and fall.

The moderately fragrant blooms are large (4-1/2") and semi-double (15 - 20 petals). The color fades slightly to light pink as the blooms age.

The buds are long, pointed, ovid, and dark pink. The colors are most vivid in the cool weather of spring and fall.

"Katy Road Pink" is a found rose that was collected near Katy, Texas in the late 1970's or early 1980's. It is an upright shrub with beautiful, semi-double, light pink flowers that repeat throughout the growing season.

"Katy Road Pink" is probably the famous Buck rose, 'Carefree Beauty'.
