"Victoria Evergreen China" was found growing in the Evergreen Cemetery in Victoia, Texas by the Texas Rose Rustlers. Some rosarians believe that this may be the original 'Cramoisi Superieur'.

An identical rose "Gilbert's Red", has been found growing in the Texas Hill Country near Boerne, and its oral history extends back to the 1850's.

"Victoria Evergreen China" flowers are double, deeply cupped, and 3" in diameter. The leaves curve inward, giving the bloom a ball shape as it opens.

"Victoria Evergreen China" is a found rose that was collected Evergreen Cemetery in Victoria, TX. It may be a sport of the original 'Cramoisi Supérieur'. The medium sized blooms (2" - 3") are crimson red, cupped, and double.

The blooms occur in clusters and have occasional small white stripes along the petals. The growth habit is bushy, erect, and vigorous.
