THE PEACEFUL HABITATIONS ROSE GARDENS FROM AUSTIN

Thank you for visiting the Peaceful Habitations Rose Gardens web site. We hope that you will come by soon in person to stroll along our garden paths and "smell the roses".

We are open five days each week, Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. We are never open on Sundays.

If you are planning a special trip or a group visit to the gardens, please E-MAIL  us a day or two in advance so that we can be sure that someone will be available to accommodate you.
At Peaceful Habitations Rose Gardens we are very casual and informal. So put on some comfortable clothes and come on out. And above all, when you come, plan to take time to "smell the roses".

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM AUSTIN

The Peaceful Habitations Rose Gardens is located about 5-1/2 Miles north of Boerne, Texas between Boerne and Sisterdale.

To get there from Austin--

  • Drive South on IH-35 S. from Austin - about 62 miles - to San Antonio.
     
  • Exit at Loop 1604 (Anderson Loop - exit number 172) and follow the access road for about 0.7 miles.
     
  • Turn RIGHT onto Loop 1604 and drive about 17 miles to the intersection with IH-10 West.
     
  • Exit right from Loop 1604 and merge onto I-10 W toward EL PASO.
     
  • Continue on IH-10 West for about 19 miles to the first Boerne exit (Exit 542).
     
  • Exit at the 1st Boerne exit (Exit 542).
     
  • Drive completely through Boerne on main street to the 6th stop light.
     
  • Turn right at the 6th stop light (School Street)
     
  • Go about 1/2 mile on School Street until it runs into the Sisterdale Road.
     
  • Turn right on the Sisterdale Road (FM 1376)
     
  • Go about 5-1/2 miles and you will see guard rails on both sides of the road and a very deep cut (20' deep) where the road passes through a hill.
     
  • The sign for the Peaceful Habitations Rose Gardens is on the right just before the cut.
     
  • Turn right at the sign on Seewald Road and go about 1/2 mile. The rose gardens will be at the first set of buildings on the right side of Seewald Road.
     
  • After crossing the bridge over IH-10, merge into US87 and go about 1 mile to the Sisterdale Road (FM-1376).

  • Turn left onto the Sisterdale Road (FM 1376)
     
  • Go about 6 miles and you will see guard rails on both sides of the road and a very deep cut (20' deep) where the road passes through a hill.
     
  • The sign for the Peaceful Habitations Rose Gardens is on the right just before the cut.
     
  • Turn right at the sign on Seewald Road and go about 1/2 mile. The rose gardens will be at the first set of buildings on the right side of Seewald Road.
