The "Wedding Arbor" is the most romantic place in our garden. Pink and white roses have intertwined to form a place of exceptional beauty. One day a man approached me to ask if he could renew his wedding vows there with his wife. I agreed, without knowing that he had failed to let his wife in on the plan. So she showed up with a friend, after a long day of shopping, only to find her husband waiting for her in a tux under the arbor, along with all her friends and the judge. It was quite a shock for her as she was handed a bouquet of fresh cut roses, but it had a happy ending.
