The Peaceful Habitations Rose Gardens maintains a display garden with more than 600
varieties of 'Old Garden' and 'Low Maintenance' roses.
We are continually adding reference information about the roses in our garden to our
Web site, but not all of our rose varieties are ready for sale. Therefore, you may
find roses described on the Web Site that do not appear on the order page.
We are actively propagating about 140 varieties at this time.
All roses are sold in 2-gallon containers and are priced at $15.95 each plus
shipping and handling. The shipping and handling charges are dependent on the customer location and
the number of packages, because those are the factors that determine the UPS shipping
costs. In general, the shipping and handling charges range from $13.00 to $15.00 per rose.
When multiple roses are ordered, we place them together in larger boxes whenever possible to
reduce the shipping costs. Therefore, if you order multiples of two or four roses,
the shipping cost per rose will be lower. Individual roses are adapted for specific climate conditions, as indicated by the 'ZONES'
listed for each variety. The zones that are listed are based on our best information
and experience, but there can be variations within zones due to local conditions. Please be
careful to select roses that are adapted for your zone and local conditions, because we cannot
be responsible for the performance of roses that are planted in inappropriate climates or locations.
The appearance of roses can vary widely, depending on the climate and cultural practices where
they are grown. To assist you in your selection, we have provided the best information that we have
about the color, growth habit, and appropriate climate for each rose. Whenever possible, we also
provide color pictures on our web site of the actual plants in our display garden.
The pictures are of the actual plants from which the individual varieties have
been propagated. Please review the information and pictures on our web pages for the
roses that you have selected, to assure that you are purchasing the varieties
that you want.
We will cheerfully replace any mislabeled roses upon notification, regardless of the date of purchase.
We do everything possible to ensure that our roses are healthy and vigorous at the
time of purchase and/or shipment.
We hope that you will understand that once a plant leaves our facilities and care
we cannot continue to guarantee it. For this reason, we cannot replace plants lost because
of freezing, poor drainage, drought, heat, inadequate sunlight, or neglect.
If there is a problem with your roses, please notify us of any problems within 30 days of receipt of your roses,
30 days of receipt of your shipment, and return the white label tag to us promptly.
After this 30 day period we will not be able to consider your request for an adjustment.
To order a rose, fill out the following form and enter the quantity desired for each variety in the
entry box next to the name of the rose.
When you have entered the quantity for each rose variety that you wish to purchase,
click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of this form to place the order. We will process your order, set the roses aside for you, calculate the shipping and handling
charges, and send you an invoice. When we receive your check in payment of the invoice,
we will ship the roses to you. |
